Rational intellect in Iranshahri’s thought; comparing “Tanassor” to “Siyasatnameh”

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the two ancient texts in the political thought of Iran, namely "Tanassor" and "Siaer Al Molk" in a sense of following a common pattern in the face of the struggles of his age as well as the concurrent frameworks of their political thought. In this regard, the research with descriptive - analytical method has investigated the continuity and survival of Iranshahri political thought, the pattern of Iranshari political thought in the history of Iranian civilization and how the original aspects are drawn into a model. The analysis of the qualitative content of these two works by using of Thomas Springs’s crisis theory showed that these two historical figures, in two different eras of the history of Iran, in recognition of the nature of the crisis, reasons of its causes, and the way out of it, acted similarly. Using the heritage of rational intellect and its elements like the superior status of the ideal ruler, the restoration of unity in multiplicity, preserve of moderation, wisdom and reason , justice, and the recognition of hierarchies and social cohesion, they have followed to exiting of the crisis of time.

Abstract [العربیة]

یهدف البحث الراهن إلى دراسة وتحلیل نصّین قدیمین فی الفکر السیاسی الإیرانی وهما "رسالة تَنْسَر" و "سِیَر الملوک للخواجة نظام الملک" من ناحیة اقتفائهما لنمط مشترک فی مواجهة مصائب زمانهم وأیضاً الأُطر المشترکة لرؤیتهم السیاسیة. منهج البحث هو المنهج الوصفی والتحلیلی، وفی سیاق البحث تمّت مناقشة استمرار وبقاء فکرة الإیرانشهریة السیاسیة ونمط فکرة الإیرانشهریة السیاسیة فی تاریخ الحضارة الإیرانیة وکیفیة رسم ملامحها الأساسیة ضمن نموذج واحد. کشف تحلیل المضمون النوعی باستخدام "نظریة الأزمة لتوماس سبریجنس" عن أنّ هذین الشخصین التاریخیّین، اللذین یعودان لفترتین تاریخیّتین مختلفتین من تاریخ إیران، عملا بطریقة مشابهة فی تشخیص حقیقة الأزمة وتحدید جذورها وعللها وأسبابها وتقدیم الحلول وسبل الخلاص منها. وقد حاولا فی التخلّص من الأزمات الحاصلة فی عصرهما، وذلک عبر استثمار مخزون إدارة الحکم التراثی ومکوّناته من قبیل الموقع المتفوّق للحاکم المثالی، واسترجاع الوحدة فی الکثرة، وحفظ الاعتدال واتّخاذ الوسطیة، والحکمة والعقل، والعدل والقسط، وصیانة التسلسل فی المجتمع وانسجامه.
