Abstract

This article states the present issues of regional security and the favorite paradigm of Iran on the basis of the horizon of development prospect in 1404 inside the security micro systems of Southwestern Asia, and it presents a particular method in favor of the identification of security patterns as well. This method has been utilized in the comprehensive plan regarding the identification of Iran’s favorite regional security pattern in the Southwestern Asia in the horizon of development prospect in 1404 within Expediency Discernment Council of the Systemand the present article is taken out of it. It is based on the thematology approach, extraction of issues, study of the trend according to the issues and the analysis starting from micro toward macro level. 
The re-identification of regional security approaches consistent with the three theoretical patterns, the balance of powers, as well as the benefit-based approach for the Islamic republic are the objectives of the present research. The findings of research declares that considering the objects of power and the favorites of Iran in various models, the balanced pattern of powers is considered to be the best strategy in favor of the Islamic republic towards the enhancement of regional benefits and the subsequent cooperation.
