Political Ethics in the Discourse of Islamic Revolution

Abstract

The identification and definition of political morals in four concepts of – the internal habits of politicians, the developed rules and regulations in the domain of politics, the political theories and whatever is considered as the science of political morality is comprehensible with two theoretical and applied approaches. Each of these two approaches in terms of the relationship between morals and politics is on the basis of theories: the separation of morality from politics, their following from one another, the theory of the unity between morals and politics.
If it is believed in theory of unity and if it is accepted that there exists a science named political morality, it should be referred to its principles and rules as well as its functions in the civil society. The present research based on the acceptance of knowledge-based identity of political morality will note to the principles and rules as well as the functions in terms of purification, promotion, setting, management, instruction, proof, fixation, providence, reinforcement.
The issue of spiritual and ethical identity of Islamic revolution and its role in the renovation of political ethics will be the final part of this writing.
