Technological Transition in Foreign Policy : The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Governance on the Geopolitical Role of the United Arab Emirates

Abstract

Technological advancements , especially in the field of artificial intelligence , have created profound changes in foreign policy and the geopolitical roles of various countries . The United Arab Emirates, as one of the leading countries in adopting new technologies , is striving to enhance its inter national standing by leveraging artificial intelligence . This article examines the impact of governance on artificial intelligence concerning the geopolitical role of the United Arab Emirates . The main issue of this research is how governance over artificial intelligence can influence the foreign policy and geopolitical position of the UAE . The main question of the article is : what is the relationship between governance over artificial intelligence and changes in the geopolitical role of the UAE at the regional and global levels ? The research method of this article is descriptive - analytical, analyzing the governance policies on artificial intelligence in the UAE and their impacts on the foreign policy strategies of the country . The research findings indicate that the UAE uses artificial intelligence as a key tool to enhance it s influence in regional and international policies . By focusing on precise governance and substantial investments in this field , the UAE has managed to strengthen its role as a technological power in the Middle East and the world . The conclusion of this article show s that effective governance over artificial intelligence can help the UAE boost its technological capabilities while significantly enhancing its strategic position in international relations and geopolitics . Ultimately , this research emphasizes the necessity of developing comprehensive governance policies on artificial intelligence to maintain and elevate the geopolitical position of countries .
